![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Jiyuu Region Pokemon Laboratory
The Jiyuu lab reflects it's residing town as a thoroughly modern institution. All of the latest technology and equipment have their very own place here. This two story building is kept with a modern but slightly nautical theme with a nicely kept lawn, stepping stones and a whitewashed fence that keeps the "backyard" enclosed. Professor Juniper and her employees reside here with an extensive collection of starter pokemon. Inside the wooden door with a golden knob is a nautical-themed room that resembles a living room. This is the first stop for new trainers after their Jiyuu application has been accepted. You will not get a pokemon without a training visa here!

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 1
As the last sights and signs of civilization are lost in the distance, route one becomes subtle plains. The only way to get through is to follow a slowly widening stream that will eventually lead you to the next town where the real journey begins. Basic Pokemon thrive in this valley and its swaying trees and grasses. This is the place where your team will gain new member and have the foundation for a complete family.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Riverlog Village (2 sub-boards)
A small, but comfortable, village that boasts a great deal of log cabins and a small, but unique, park. Everyone here is friendly and hospitable, allowing wandering trainers to enter their homes for a night's rest. A river flows through the middle of the towns, so you could find a lot of the residents fishing or swimming. This place boasts a gym, which is actually behind the waterfall you walk past on your way into town. The gym leader is pretty reclusive, so you won't be seeing him outside his little cave.
| 1 | 1 | |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 2
The river travels a little bit past the town and ends up turning into a large swampy marsh. The ground is sticky and canoes are the recommended modes of travel. There are large red posts that help people know where the actual route is that will take you to the next town. At the end of this route, a ferry must be boarded in order to reach the island that holds the next gym.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Resort Isle (2 sub-boards)
A bustling tourist area that attracts many people to its streets. This island is crowded, but the beaches have soft sand and gentle waves during fair weather. It takes a patient person to walk through this town, but it will be worth it once you make it to the gym residing on this island. It's way across from where trainers land, though, which means they HAVE to go through the crowded streets in order to proceed on with their quest.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 3
Route 3 is all water seeing as how you are leaving an island and going onto another island. There are a lot of friendly Pokemon that will swim up to you and say hello. In order to get across, you will need to catch one of the boats that takes you across the water to the next island. These boats usually allow for fishing, which also means you have a chance of catching Pokemon on your way over. Make sure you don't snag, though, or it could be man overboard for you.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Miracle Springs Island (2 sub-boards)
Miracle Springs Island contains a gym, a load of hot springs for therapy and relaxation, and a host of friendly people who work on the island, maintaining the springs. The ground here is very soft and promotes growth of soft grasses that are perfect to lay down or have a picnic on. The gym is actually outdoors and right behind the main spa house. Come and relax your Pokemon before the gym battle, though, and face the fact that you will never want to leave.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 4
Another completely water route, this one is a little different because the only modes of transportation are Lapras or Wailord. People who own these Pokemon gladly take people along these routes. Wear a swimsuit and put everything else in a completely water-proof bag provided by the owner. That way you can't get wet, and it'd be easy to jump into the water to use one of your Pokemon to catch other Pokemon in the water. It'd be a little different, though, battling while swimming.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Island of Breezes (2 sub-boards)
There are several different caves on this island, each one capturing wind and sending it in a different direction. Each breeze carries its owns scents and temperature, which means it varies a lot wherever you are. The gym is in the center of the large suburb-like town, right next to a large open park with a lot of trees and flowers normally. The climate is slightly tropical so the fauna does not really lose its beauty in the colder seasons.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 5
After you are done with the Island of Breezes, you gain access to Route 5 which is a bridge that stretches across the island to the main land. This bridge is very windy and can blow a person off their feet if they are too unbalanced. Wear some kind of windbreaker if you don't want to get chilled. Several bird and steel Pokemon like to reside on this bridge, greeting passersby with either an attack or a nice gesture. Either way, this route will definitely be a challenge.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Parthen Town (2 sub-boards)
Parthen Town is a very sacred place in Jiyuu. The town is centered around the Genesis Temple. It is usually filled with people using it as a place to relieve themselves of stress by wishing on a statue of Jirachi. The gym is located underneath this temple so as to keep the peace and quiet in the sacred place. Most of the people here are kind, but there are a few elders that like to scream at the trainers for being materialistic and violent and things they never witnessed but are angry about.
| 1 | 1 | on Oct 13, 2010, 5:26pm by Kçℵ in Gym Leader Info |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 6
Pack some water because Route 6 is very dry. Dust storms are common and shelter should be taken up in several caves that are drilled into the sides of the small mountains bordering this route. Watch out of Trapinch sandpits or else you might end up in underground tunnels that are extremely difficult to escape. Usually it requires finding a Trapinch and asking it for assistance, but usually that's too difficult, so others settle for any other ground Pokemon to help them dig out.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | San Áridas City (2 sub-boards)
This city is dry and arid, yet bustling and full of people. Though they aren't the nicest people, they know how to show trainers how to have a good time. It hardly rains in this city, which means the large sky scraper buildings don't need a lot of maintenance. There are hardly any trees in this town and mostly its just streets and buildings. The gym is in a large dome that opens up to look at the sky near the entrance to the city.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 7
This route is nothing but flat plains with a nice, gentle breeze and a lot of grass and a few large, hardy trees. It rains often, mostly during thunder storms, which trainers avoid by taking up residence in holes of the trunks of large trees. The route is designated by a clearing in the tall grass. Wandering off the path could result in danger.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Mt. Rumble Village (2 sub-boards)
Next in the journey will bring a trainer to Mt. Rumble Village. This peaceful community welcomes its visitors with cobbled streets and a very rustic feeling. It actually looks as though it were from an old time village when Rapidash were used as transportation methods. You still do see them pulling carriages, though, but now its just for a tourist attraction. Victorian houses are nice to look at, but its the gym that's really important, which is an extension of a black smith's shop.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Route 8
Route 8 is a damp route that has piles of dirty, melting snow on the sides of the route. It's relatively cool, so pack warm and remember that it's fairly muddy. It's a calm route, though, and only lightly snows every so often. As it gets closer to the next town, however, it gets colder and colder.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | June Town (2 sub-boards)
Though it is named after a summer month, the name is misleading. This is the coldest town in all of Jiyuu, and the locals are used to it. They hate trainers who complain about the temperature, and the thick snow cover, and the needed layers of coats. The gym is a large dome in the middle of the town, always layered with snow on the roof. Make sure you stop by the local bakery and grab some warm bread, or pick up some free hot chocolate at the Pokemon Center.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Valley of Victors
In the Valley of Victors, those with all eight gym badges are allowed to go through. The tundra fades away as you enter a seeming utopia or Shangri-La like place that is warm and full of wonder. Strong Pokemon live in this valley. Each trainer who travels through must face the challenges needed in order to make it all the way through this valley for the strongest of trainers.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Tengai Mountain (5 sub-boards)
Tengai Mountain was carved out into five spires back before written records of man. These spires are kept intact to this day, and each one holds one of the elite four. Originally it was believed these places were used for five of the greatest controllers of Pokemon to be housed and considered royalty. Now they are used for the Elite Four and the Champion. Inside, the smooth walls are lined with designs of Pokemon and people interacting together as you walk up the spiral staircases to each of the four rooms. This is the Elite Four, and this is the greatest challenge any trainer can face. The benefits, though, are immense.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Pokehunter Base (1 sub-board)
This base is located on a peninsula cut off from the rest of Jiyuu. The way to get here is treacherous unless you are given the secret once you ally yourself with the Pokehunters. Pokehunters who start off here are given their first Pokemon and their own starter pack, so it is basically the evil twin of the Jiyuu Lab. Pokehunters, though, are generally older than new trainers.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Jiyuu Contest Hall
Contests are popular activities in the Pokemon world, and even in Jiyuu they have earned themselves a spotlight. This is the Contest Hall of Jiyuu where trainers who want to show off the brilliance of their Pokemon gather. Everyone here has a chance to win themselves a nifty ribbon, though there is no Grand Festival for people to look forward to.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | The Gentle River (1 sub-board)
Accessible from beginning. A slow-flowing river that is shallow and refreshingly chilled. Many Pokemon are found here either drinking water or swimming. It's a beautiful landscape with several sunny days and a number one stop for new trainers. Basic, low-leveled Pokemon love to lounge around here and are available for beginner trainers to battle.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Forest of Songs (1 sub-board)
Accessible from the beginning. This forest is full of melodies and harmonies from all kinds of Pokemon creating pleasant sounds and releasing them into the sky. Krictetot ringing, Swablu singing and even Combee buzzing are just a few types of sounds you can hear within these wooden lands.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Coastal Prairie (2 sub-boards)
Accessible from the beginning. The Coastal Prairie is an area with warm winds and lots of grass. The land is all flat here and holds several grazing Pokemon such as Tauros, Miltank and Baffuron. These are tough Pokemon, though, so it might be better to start off with the smaller Pokemon that hang around. Several people have made homes and settlements on these lands along with comfortable family farms and gardens. They aren't afraid to let wandering trainers in their homes.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Sandsoft Beach (3 sub-boards)
Accessible after arriving in Riverlog Town. This beach is an area a little off from Riverlog Town where people go to battle wild Pokemon or to relax under the warm sun's rays. The water is warm and excellent for swimming and having a great relaxing time after worrying about the first gym.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Rainbow Reef (1 sub-board)
Accessible after arriving at Resort Isle. This reef sports several shades of every color. Though reds are dampened out from the water, it is still remarkably beautiful. Corsola horns have fallen off and created this reef for many years, each one reacting with different materials to become colorful. A variety of water Pokemon can be found swimming around as you are taken out here for a snorkeling exhibition off of Resort Isle. It'd help to have a water Pokemon to battle with because they will have an advantage over other types.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Ms. C's Eggorium (1 sub-board)
Accessible only after arriving on the Resort Isle. Ms. C, as her name slightly implies, is a giant and I mean giant chansey. Well, Chansey pokemorph at least. She and her near army-like staff of Chanseys run the Eggorium, working night and day to make sure that all the eggs are in pristine shape for any trainer that may pass by.
| 3 | 3 | |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Natural Hot Springs (1 sub-board)
Accessible after arriving at Miracle Springs Island. Such a relaxing feeling it is to sit in a natural, mineral-enriched hot bath. Even wild Pokemon love to step on in and lose stress. Though, if a trainer just so happens to wander up on one of them, they may start up or battle, or get pulled into one. The ground around the springs is dark and soft like a sponge. There are palm trees every so often, adding a nice appeal to the area.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Abandoned Island (1 sub-board)
Accessible only after arriving on Miracle Springs Island. Abandoned and desolate, this island is the source of many rumors and legends from those who live on the main island. Some say people go missing while searching here, others say spirits haunt the place, but the most choice rumor of them all happens to be the existence of two warring tribes of Minezumi and Bidoof on the island. Mostly the place is just a small town the the forest took over. Trees have grown into homes and grass has replaced walkways and roads.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Mamoswine Caves (1 sub-board)
Accessible only after arriving on Island of Breezes. The Mamoswine caves are one of the oddities of the Jiyuu Region. A people long past built giant monuments and structures dedicated to their Mamoswine gods. As such, the entrance to the caves is built with numerous Mamoswine Statues leading helpless trainers and pokemon down into the depths of the caves. If you're lucky, you might even find the right path to what treasures await down below.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Lunair Ruins (3 sub-boards)
Accessible after arriving in Parthen Town. Lunair Ruins were here before the civilized world reached Jiyuu. They were a bunch of stone structures located in the middle of a small forest. Psychic Pokemon are found here in a abundance, along with a few others who trek around the ruins. Not only are the ruins a nice place to train and catch Pokemon, it's a nice place to explore too.
| 0 | 0 | |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Desert of the Whispering Dunes (3 sub-boards)
Accessible after arriving in San Áridas City. This desert may be small, but it is definitely dry and hot. The winds kick up all of the time, causing the dunes to shift and change. As the sand moves, it creates a whispering-like sound, one of the many wonders of Jiyuu. There are several dunes in this desert along with several Ground and Rock Pokemon.
| 0 | 0 | |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Petite Mountains (1 sub-board)
Accessible after arriving in Mt. Rumble Village. The Petite Mountains are as their name implies, quite small mountains. To trek up and down the tallest of these smallest mountains would take only a few hours. Nonetheless, they are host to a variety of Pokemon. Dragon types are sometimes spotted around here, but this place is mainly host to several other types. The mountains are lightly forested.
| 0 | 0 | |
![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Erosels Ias Tundra (2 sub-boards)
Accessible after arriving in June Town. This tundra is cold, like any other tundra. Pine trees are the only kinds of plants you'll see around here. The ground is hard due to permafrost and several types of Pokemon love to battle any trainers they find. The snow around these parts are very light and almost fluffy and only coat the ground is thin layers at a time.

![[ ]](http://images.proboards.com/new/off.png) | Victor's Cave
Only those who have beaten the Elite for and the Champion may pass through the stone gates. Inside is a giant underground natural world that has any terrain imaginable and contains only the strongest pokemon in the Jiyuu Region. Rare pokemon are in abundance.
